Leopold Bros Three Chamber Rye Whiskey Holiday Edition 2022 is an American rye whiskey at 50% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in Denver, Colorado, on a Three Chamber Still that Leopold Bros. rebuilt from pre-Prohibition manuscripts after 15 years of work.
The mash bill is 80% Abruzzi rye, a heritage grain grown for this whiskey, and 20% Leopold Bros. floor malt. It was aged for roughly five to six years.
The nose is peaches, lavender and honey with plums, pears and candied fruit. On the palate come light fruit, chamomile and cocoa over honey, maple syrup and vanilla, and the finish is long and syrupy.
