Bloodlines Heritage is a 6 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Limestone Farms, bottled at 92 proof, or 46% ABV. It is a single-age bourbon blended under Barry Downing, with LF Heritage Distilling Co. based in Georgetown, Kentucky. The mash bill is calibrated for rounded sweetness, roasted grain richness and a modest lift of rye. The nose shows caramel, oak, nuts and dried fruit. Caramelised sugar, dried fruit and spice come through on the palate, and the finish is long, warm and lasting.
