Limestone Farms Bloodlines is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 49.1% ABV under the Limestone Farms Heritage Distilling name. It blends bourbons aged for 6 and 9 years, made from a mashbill reported as 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley. The nose offers roasted almonds and dark plum, then nutmeg, molasses and sweet tobacco. The palate is smooth and gently oily, with butter-cookie sweetness, brown sugar, toasted corn and lightly charred oak, plus a fresh, rind-like fruit note. The finish is medium to long, with candy sweetness, cinnamon, barrel char and toasted nuts.
