This is a Lowland single malt from Lindores Abbey, bottled at 49.4% ABV as part of the Casks of Lindores series. It was matured exclusively in bourbon barrels and is one of the three core bottlings in the series, a limited edition.
On the nose there are pear, vanilla and peppery oak. The palate brings sweet stewed apples, ginger and spicy pepper.
