MCDXCIV is a blended malt from Lindores Abbey in Fife, in the Lowlands, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is elegant, soft and mellow, with vanilla and caramel playing against orchard fruits and sweet pear drops, reminiscent of toffee apples. The palate is smooth and creamy, with mellow vanilla, dried fruits and touches of citrus, plus a hint of spice. The finish is pleasant and lingering.
