Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bourbon Cask (49.4%)

Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bourbon Cask is a single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery, made exclusively from whisky matured in bourbon casks. It is bottled at 49.4% ABV, a reference to 1494, the year spirit was first produced at Lindores Abbey. Fermentation at Lindores lasts 117 hours, one of the longest in whisky. The spirit is first distilled in a large wash still called Dodo, then in two smaller stills named Puppy and Gee after the owners' daughters, which gives more contact with the copper. The bottle design is inspired by the decoration on bricks found during the excavation of the old abbey.
