Linkwood 19 Year Old DS Tayman Tequila Edition is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 19 years and finished in a tequila cask. It was bottled at a cask strength of 55.6% ABV by the independent bottler DS Tayman, in an outturn of 255 bottles.
The tequila finish adds subtle agave and fresh vegetal notes to Linkwood's orchard-fruit character.
On the nose there are greengages, ripe pears and Danish pastry. The palate brings caramelised apple, buttery pastry and agave, and the finish keeps a fruit sweetness alongside pastry cream and a delicate tequila-cask influence.
