This is a 2008 Linkwood single malt from Speyside, an independent bottling from Michel Reick's Best Dram range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 55.7% ABV. Linkwood was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, and his son William rebuilt it completely in 1871. The distillery lies south of Elgin on a four hectare parkland site, surrounded by woodland beside the River Lossie. Its water comes from springs at Loch Milbuis, and it is now owned by Diageo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
