A Linkwood single malt distilled in 2010 and matured in an oloroso cask, bottled at 49% for the London Showcase 2024. Linkwood is a Speyside distillery founded in 1821.
It is not chill-filtered, so it can look cloudy when diluted or cooled.
The nose offers dried figs, dates and sultanas with a hint of dark chocolate, freshly baked pastry and the earthy scent of aged tobacco from an old humidor. The finish is rich with sherry sweetness and a soft touch of spice.
