This is a ten-year-old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, released to mark The Whisky Exchange's 50th anniversary. It was distilled in 2011, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and new oak hogsheads, and bottled in 2022 at 52.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 870 bottles.
The nose is bright citrus zest, ripe apple and raspberry, with nutmeg and a little vanilla. The palate brings toffee, apple strudel, creamy vanilla, white pepper and clove. The finish is medium, with gentle orchard fruit and soft spice.
