A 25-year-old single malt from Linkwood, distilled in 1997 and bottled by Wilson & Morgan at 54.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
After its main maturation it spent nine years finishing in a first-fill oloroso sherry cask.
The nose is nutty, with red dessert wine, pear, red apple, crushed almond and marzipan, sweet spice, candied orange and a touch of dark chocolate, with soft sherry throughout. The palate is rich and full-flavoured, with spice, roasted chestnut, a waxy coating through the middle, apple skins, dates, cinnamon and honey. It is described as rich rather than overly sweet.
