Linkwood – The Single Malts of Scotland 16 Year Old 2009/2025 (56%)

This is a single cask Linkwood from Speyside, bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland. Only 280 bottles were filled. It was distilled on 16 December 2009 and bottled exactly 16 years later, on 16 December 2025. The whole time was spent in a single Oloroso sherry hogshead, giving a honey-coloured amber. It is bottled at 56% vol, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring, and it is unpeated. Dark fruit, nutty roasted notes and a creamy fullness mark the palate.
