Lion Head is a blended Scotch whisky made from Scottish malt and grain whiskies, selected and bottled in France by the spirits house Vinet-Delpech. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle, and comes in a gold-nugget-shaped bottle with a lion-crest motif.
On the nose there is honey, light butterscotch and gentle cereal sweetness, with faint oak. The palate opens soft and sweet with honey and toffee, a subtle wisp of smoke and mild oak spice. The finish is medium, with butterscotch and toasted oak.
