Liqueur a la Caroube Distillerie de Monaco (50cl, 24%)

A liqueur from Monaco made from carob, the sweet fruit of the carob tree grown around the Mediterranean. Traditional distillation preserves a balance of natural sweetness and freshness, while ageing in selected wood casks adds softness and a light vanilla note. The nose shows dried fruit, cocoa, caramel, spice and toasted notes; the palate is velvety and persistent, with a warm, round finish. Pairs well with chocolate or cream desserts and strong coffee.
