Liquirizia (50cl)

A dark liquorice spirit from Coop. Distillerie, made by traditional methods. It opens with vigorous, enveloping notes of black liquorice and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is soft yet powerful, with sweet, almost caramelised liquorice balanced by a light bitterness and a long, pleasantly persistent finish. Smooth and velvety, it suits serving neat after a meal or as an ingredient in cocktails. Served chilled, it works well as a digestif or in combination with sweeter drinks.
