A Sicilian prickly pear liqueur from Liquori dell'Etna, made from carefully selected prickly pears grown on the slopes of Etna, distilled by traditional methods to preserve their fresh, distinctive aroma. It opens with fruity notes of prickly pear, delicate floral hints and a lightly herbaceous touch, then shows a soft, enveloping palate with a balance of sweetness and freshness. Bottle ageing adds complexity. Serve chilled, as a digestif or in Mediterranean cocktails, with almond-based desserts or fresh cheeses.
