Liquore di Arancia Tarocco Gallo is an orange liqueur made at Masterbianco in Sicily, in a 50cl bottle. It uses Tarocco Gallo oranges grown in Contrada San Martino on the slopes of Etna and picked by hand in January.
The peel is infused in agricultural alcohol. Anthocyanins in the skin of this native variety give concentrated colour, aroma and flavour.
The nose is of freshly squeezed orange with grated zest. The palate is sweet, warm and soft, with intense, lingering citrus.
