Little Book Chapter 4: Lessons Honored (75cl, 61.4%)

Little Book Chapter 4: Lessons Honored is a blend of three Kentucky straight whiskeys, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 61.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Freddie Noe made it as a personal tribute to his father, 7th Generation Master Distiller Fred Noe, and it was released in August 2020. The blend combines a 4-year-old brown rice bourbon, an 8-year-old high-rye rye and a 7-year-old bourbon. The brown rice bourbon was Freddie's first solo distillation project, and the rye is an ode to Booker's Rye. The nose is caramel, apple pie, cinnamon toast and oak spice. The palate is full-bodied, with brown sugar, charred wood, dried cherries, roasted peanuts, maple syrup and allspice and black pepper. The finish is soft, with warm caramel and lingering spice.
