This is a 12 year old unpeated Highland single malt from Little Brown Dog, distilled at Glen Garioch and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first core expression from the Aberdeenshire bottler.
The whisky was matured 60% in first fill bourbon barrels and 40% in oloroso and PX sherry casks.
The nose has tinned peaches, apricot Danish pastry and bramble jelly. The palate brings toffee apple, custard with pears and fresh fig. The finish runs to marmalade, pain d'epice and fresh roast coffee.
