Littlemill – 1977 Celestial Edition 40 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Littlemill (Lowland). Aged 40 years, bottled at 46.8% ABV, 70cl. Matured in refill & bourbon barrels. This Littlemill was distilled in 1977 and matured for 40 years in American oak and first-fill bourbon casks. The original presentation included a lacquered display case alongside a 5cl sample vial. An old Lowland malt distillery with a tumultuous history. First established in 1772, it operated in fits and starts until its final closure in 1994 and it has since been lost for good following a fire ten years later. Today the brand and remaining stock are owned by the Loch Lomond Group. Condition: Outer black carton has crushed/bent top corner.
