This is a 30 year old single malt from Littlemill, the Lowland distillery at Bowling in Dumbartonshire, founded in 1772 and working until 1992. La Maison du Whisky bottled it from a single hogshead at a cask strength of 53.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2023, giving 238 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour, and shows an intense golden hue.
The nose offers vanilla and lemon, white blossom, coconut, curry, verbena, pineapple and banana. The palate brings passion fruit, lychee, pepper, saffron and meadow herbs, cooled by toffee and latte flavours, before a layered finish.
