Langhe DOC Nebbiolo from Livia Fontana, from the Langhe hills in Piedmont.
It is produced using traditional methods and aged in oak barrels, which enrich the profile without overpowering the varietal character. It is suited to medium-long ageing.
The nose shows ripe red fruit such as cherries and raspberries, faded rose and light spices, with a touch of vanilla and leather. On the palate it is rich and well structured, with finely worked tannins, lively acidity and a prolonged finish with sweet spice and a light mineral aftertaste.
