This is a 17-year-old single grain whisky from North British distillery, bottled by Living Souls at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in red wine hogsheads, which bring fruit character and depth to the grain spirit's creamy sweetness, with orchard fruit and soft spice alongside. The bottling takes its inspiration from the Scottish countryside at sunset.
The nose is caramel biscuits, stewed fruit and crumbly Scottish tablet. On the palate come sticky toffee pudding, dried fruit, Lotus Biscoff biscuits and cinnamon, and the finish is gentle orchard fruit sweetness with soft spice.
