Livio Felluga Refosco Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC

A Refosco from Livio Felluga, from the Colli Orientali del Friuli. It shows a deep ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, light earthy notes and delicate spice. The palate is balanced, with present but not aggressive tannins and freshness that supports the sip. There is a sapid texture, good persistence, fruit integrated with mineral returns and a light almond note in the finish. It pairs with red meats, rustic roasts and medium-aged cheeses, and benefits from brief decanting and moderate serving temperature.
