LoAlto Rosso Garnacha

A red wine with a clear, bright ruby colour. The nose is frank and immediate, with fresh cherry, raspberry and strawberry, light spicy notes and a herbaceous hint. The attack is fresh, with measured acidity and soft tannins; the body is medium, fruit remains central, and the finish is pleasant and smooth with fruity returns and a touch of black pepper. It suits everyday, informal drinking with tomato-based dishes, light ragu pasta, cured meats, medium cheeses, Mediterranean cooking and tapas, and also chicken, grilled vegetables and lighter fish preparations. Serve at around 14-16 C.
