Sherry Bomb is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Local Heros, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks and refill casks, which give a rich style built on a base of toasted malt.
The nose is spicy and creamy, with honey, strawberry, red apple and cinnamon. On the palate come layers of dried fruit, sultanas and hazelnut, with stewed plums, figs and vanilla, and light touches of red berries. The finish is of medium length, fruity and soft.
