Local Heros Sweet Peat is a blended malt Scotch bottled at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. It is one of three Local Heros whiskies released by the team behind the revival of Coleburn Distillery.
Sweet with wisps of gentle smoke, it pairs orchard fruit and boiled confectionery with aromatic smoke and a touch of incense.
The nose has confectionery-shop notes, plums, caramel and a soft, earthy smoke. On the palate fudge, honey, cake, marshmallow and floral incense build, with a smokier, bonfire edge. The finish is long and balanced, with aromatic smoke drifting on.
