Loch Lomond – 12 Year Old Perfectly Balanced (70cl, 46%)

Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Perfectly Balanced is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak and is bottled without added colour and without chill-filtering. The blend is the work of master blender Michael Henry, whose signature appears on each bottle. It is described as showing peach and pear layered over vanilla sweetness, with a soft touch of smoke. On the nose there is crisp green apple, ripe pear, fresh lemon and golden grain. The palate is fruity and sweet, with lemon citrus, vanilla meringue and a hint of biscuit. The finish is of medium length, with gentle wood smoke.
