This is a 13 year old Loch Lomond single malt, bottled by independent bottler Whisky Craft at 58.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The last two years of its maturation were spent finishing in an ex-Cognac hogshead, which gives a cereal-led whisky with a bright, juicy citrus edge.
The nose is bright, with citrus and tropical fruit, bubblegum and orange oil over a soft cereal sweetness. The palate is smooth and delicate, with a gentle malty core and juicy citrus. The finish is light and dry, with a touch of peppery spice.
