This is a 13 year old Loch Lomond single malt, selected as an exclusive cask by Drummin'Dram. It was distilled in August 2007 and bottled in September 2020, giving 289 bottles at 53.3% ABV in a 70cl size.
The whisky was finished in a first fill Sauternes hogshead, which sets it apart from a standard bourbon or sherry maturation.
The nose and palate are described as sweet and fruity: barley sugar and soft poached pears sit with creamy vanilla and blossom honey, followed by orange peel, candied ginger and a hint of toasted almonds.
