Loch Lomond – Chardonnay Cask Finish for 152nd Open Championship Royal Troon is a whisky from Loch Lomond (Highland). Bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. The original Loch Lomond distillery was founded in roughly 1814, proximate to the Northern Loch Lomond area of Tarbet. In 1964, it was relocated to the Southeast corner of the Loch by the former owners of the Littlemill distillery. It was here that the first distillation upon the new site commenced. Despite the establishment changing hands once more, by the early 90s, Loch Lomond distillery could boast production in both malt and grain whisky, including single grain whisky and deluxe blends. Some of their heavy hitters have won various awards with notorious industry bodies such as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016, World Whiskies Award 2016, and the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition 2015. 152nd Open Championsip Royal Troon
