Inchmurrin 12 Year Old is a Loch Lomond single malt named after the island of Inchmurrin, the largest freshwater island in the British Isles. It is matured in American oak casks, bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered, and it is made without peat.
The nose is sweet and floral, with honey, vanilla and green apple, plus hints of oak and spice. On the palate it is light and fresh, with citrus, pear and honey, balanced by vanilla and toasted oak. The finish is smooth and mellow, with a touch of spice and a gentle sweetness that lingers.
