Loch Lomond 'Kerr Cellars' is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2002 at Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria and bottled at 48.14% ABV, non-chill-filtered, in a 750ml bottle. It is a collaboration with golfer and winemaker Cristie Kerr, and was limited to 4,000 bottles. The whisky matured for around 16 years in ex-bourbon casks, then spent 10 months in French Vosges oak casks that had held Kerr's 2016 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. It was released in 2019. Tasting notes describe red berries, black cherry and dark chocolate on the nose, plum and raspberry over honeyed oak on the palate, and a long finish of cocoa, soft tannin and gentle spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
