Loch Lomond Original is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highland region, bottled at 40% ABV. It is golden in colour, with a light, elegant peat smoke.
Loch Lomond makes both single malt and grain whisky and has its own cooperage on site. The distillery takes its name from the local loch, which also supplies the water for production.
The nose recalls honey-roasted muesli, apricot and almond with a very gentle smoke. The palate is soft and round, with malt, caramel, sponge cake and nuts.
