Loch Lomond Original is a Highland single malt from Alexandria, Scotland, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled from 100% malted barley and blended by Master Blender Michael Henry.
Spirit from straight-neck and swan-neck pot stills is combined and matured in three types of American oak cask.
The nose is malty, with golden biscuit and light fruit. The palate starts with sweet honey, then soft peach and pear, a delicate note of orange and creamy vanilla. The finish is of medium length, closing with a hint of soft smoke.
