Loch Lomond – Single Malt Vintage 2002 Christie Kerr Limited Edition

This is a Loch Lomond single malt from the 2002 vintage, finished in Kerr Cellars 2016 Calera Clone Pinot Noir red wine casks. It was released as a limited edition to mark Christie Kerr becoming a Loch Lomond Whisky Ambassador. The casks are made from Vosges oak from the Alsace mountains in eastern France, with the wood seasoned for three years before coopering. Master Blender Michael Henry chose the 2002 spirit, which also celebrates Christie's first win on the LGPA Tour. The whisky is described as elegant and refined, with an underlying fruit character.
