A single cask Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled at cask strength, 55%, in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in The Nine series.
The whisky was distilled in 2010 and matured in a first fill Bordeaux red wine hogshead before it was bottled in 2023, producing 293 bottles. It is an Inchfad style, made on swan neck pot stills, and is non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose offers fresh blackcurrant, clove and juicy nectarine. On the palate come layers of maple sugar and toffee apple, and the finish brings red liquorice.
