The Open Special Edition 2021 is a single malt from Loch Lomond, created in partnership with the Scottish professional golfer Colin Montgomerie, who is a Loch Lomond Whiskies ambassador. It comes in a carton bearing his signature.
The whisky was matured in three types of American oak cask, then given a partial finish in virgin American oak. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration, with an approachable character, underlying fruit and a gentle hint of peat smoke.
