This is a Highlands single malt from Loch Lomond, released as The Open Special Edition 2024 and bottled at 46% vol in a 70cl bottle. It has not been chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured in American oak and finished in Chardonnay wine casks.
The nose is bright with juicy lemon and green apple over a light vanilla note. On the palate come ripe pear and peach, delicate blossom honey and a touch of toasted oak. The finish is medium in length, with cinnamon and a soft smokiness.
