Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 3 is a single malt from Lochlea Distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, bottled at 59.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first in a series of annual limited-edition releases, each bottled straight from the cask without the addition of water. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky comes from a combination of Oloroso sherry butts and ex-Islay peated casks. The result is described as balancing richness and depth with a surprising twist of smoke.
