Lochlea – Harvest Edition (70cl, 46%)

Lochlea Harvest Edition is a Lowland single malt bottled at 46% in a 700ml bottle. It is the second release in the distillery's annual seasonal series, made from the farm's 2022 First Crop of its own estate-grown barley, in a run of 9,000 bottles. The whisky was matured in Port hogsheads, Oloroso sherry butts and first-fill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings pear drops, stewed apples and oat biscuits. On the palate come strawberries, violets and toasted marshmallow, and the finish offers cereal and freshly cut grass with toasted almonds and vanilla.
