This is the third crop of Lochlea's Harvest Edition single malt. It began its maturation in refill bourbon casks and was then moved to port hogsheads.
The whisky was finished in an oloroso sherry butt from Miguel Martin.
It is described as having rich red fruit flavours alongside the distinctive Lochlea cereal character, with a subtle touch of cracked black pepper on the finish.
