This is the first crop of the Harvest Edition from Lochlea, a Lowland distillery. It is a seasonal small batch release, bottled at 46% ABV in September 2022.
The barley was grown on site and harvested when golden at the end of summer. After distillation, the spirit matured in a combination of port, Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
