Lochlea Orchard & Oak is a single malt from the independent Lochlea farm distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is a single estate whisky, made from barley grown by the distillery, then distilled and matured on site.
It is matured in bourbon, virgin American oak and Calvados casks, and is described as a bright, fruit-led malt. Fresh apple comes with buttery caramel and sweet oak, alongside a soft, grassy freshness, and the finish is gentle and spicy.
