Ploughing Edition (Third Crop) is a single malt from Lochlea Distillery in Ayrshire. It is the fourth and final bottling in a series of limited editions that closes the Seasonal Trilogy, with each release reflecting the rhythms of life on the distillery's working farm.
The whisky was matured in 100% ex-Islay barrels, and the influence of those powerful peated casks gives it a distinctly smoky character. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
