Lochlea Sowing Edition is a single malt released as the distillery's second crop, a seasonal release. Seasonal releases from the distillery are each different. The whisky has spent its whole life in former bourbon casks. The nose is fruity, with sweet orchard fruits. On the palate come rich vanilla and almond oil, with a fresh touch of pine needles.
