Lochlea – Sowing Edition Third Crop

Lochlea Sowing Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Third Crop of the distillery's seasonal releases, matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. It is named for spring on the farm, when the seed is sown for the year's barley crop. Lochlea releases four limited seasonal whiskies each year to follow the farming calendar, and this Third Crop brings the trilogy to a close. The nose is of almonds and rose petals. On the palate come white pepper, apple blossom and crisp pear, and the finish recalls warm straw and fresh grass.
