Locke's 8 Year Old Single Malt is a single malt whisky from Cooley. Aged 8 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. A Double distilled Single Malt Whiskey from the old Cooley distillery, This modern release of an old Irish Brand after John Teelings purchase of the Cooley and Kilbeggan Distilleries. It began to appear on market shelves in the year 2000. The Old Lockes Brand is long associated with the Westmeath Distillery in Kilbeggan. Produced with 10% peated malt for a unique taste profile that has won many awards including A Gold Medal and Best in Class in the 2009 International Wine and Spirits Awards.
