Lonely Oak Steeple Ridge Single Barrel Cask Strength Barrel Series (75cl, 59%)

This is a single barrel, cask strength bourbon from Lonely Oak Distillery in Iowa, in a 75cl bottle at 59% ABV. It is made from a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley, and each bottle comes from one barrel. In the glass it is a deep, dark amber. The nose brings toasted oak, caramel and warm spice, followed on the palate by vanilla and char. The finish is bold and lingering.
