This Longmorn was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 at 48% by Wilson & Morgan. It is a 14-year-old single cask from Speyside, drawn from a bourbon barrel in a run of 211 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured.
The whisky spent a further 16 months in a second-fill virgin oak cask.
The nose is deep, with honey, raisin and a hint of wax. The palate is malty, sweet, lightly peppery and mineral, balancing tannin with a creamy texture. There are notes of farm gardens, ripe banana and a touch of mustard.
